Pesach Day 3 — Walking Forward in Faith

By the third day of Pesach, the journey away from Mitsrayim continues steadily forward. Deliverance has already taken place, and now the people move deeper into the wilderness where faith must grow. Each step taken is a declaration that the past has been left behind and that the future belongs to YHVH.

Walking forward in faith requires trust even when the path is unfamiliar. The wilderness is not empty - it is filled with opportunities to learn obedience and dependence. With each passing day, hearts are shaped to follow the One who leads.

First Fruits — Offering the Beginning to YHVH

The day of First Fruits reminds us that the first and best belong to YHVH. Before the harvest is gathered, the first sheaf is lifted as an offering of gratitude and trust. This act declares that all provision comes from Him and that the remainder of the harvest is placed in His hands.

First Fruits is a declaration of faith in what is yet to come. It acknowledges that what begins with YHVH will be completed by Him. The offering of the first portion sanctifies the whole and reminds us that our beginnings must be placed before Him.

Resurrection Morning — Life Rising from the Grave

This day also marks the remembrance of Resurrection Morning, when Yahusha rose from the grave as the First Fruits of life. What had seemed silent and sealed was opened by the power of YHVH. The grave, once a place of stillness, became the doorway to victory and renewal.

Resurrection Morning reminds us that YHVH brings life where death once ruled. The same power that raised Yahusha is a testimony that restoration follows obedience and that life follows sacrifice. The morning of First Fruits is therefore not only about harvest, but about new life emerging in fullness.

Reflection

This day is filled with hope and expectation. As the third day of Pesach continues the journey of freedom, First Fruits lifts our eyes toward promise, and Resurrection Morning declares victory over death. Together, they form a powerful reminder that obedience leads to renewal and that faith produces life.

The stillness of the previous days gives way to the movement of this morning. What was planted in obedience begins to rise in fulfillment. The offering of the first portion and the rising of new life both declare that YHVH is faithful to complete what He begins.

Let this day be one of rejoicing and dedication. Continue walking forward, offer the first and best to YHVH, and rejoice in the life that comes from His hand.

OMER 03 — The First of the Harvest Begins

Today marks the third day of counting the Omer, beginning from the day of Pesach to today, the day of First Fruits when the first sheaf was lifted before YHVH. This count connects deliverance to harvest, and journey to fulfillment.

The third count reminds us that every harvest begins with a single offering. The first sheaf represents hope — proof that the harvest has begun and that more is to come. Each day counted from this point forward draws us closer to Sinai and to the giving of instruction and covenant.

With each count, expectation grows. The wilderness journey continues, but now it carries the assurance that provision and purpose are already unfolding. The first fruits declare that what has begun will be completed in its appointed time.

Let this third count be a reminder that beginnings matter. What is offered first prepares the way for what follows.
