Power and Signs - YHVH Reveals His Authority Through Demonstration
Blessed are You, YHVH our Elohim, King of the universe, who brings us into this Shabbat. Thank You for sustaining us through the week and ordering our steps. As we enter Your rest, quiet our hearts and establish peace within us. Let us rest in Your authority and trust in Your governance over all things.
We remember Your covenant and Your provision. As we partake in this moment of remembrance, we acknowledge that every step of deliverance is held by Your hand. Strengthen our awareness that You are faithful in every season.
โThus says YHVH: By this you shall know that I am YHVH.โ
- Shemot (Exodus) 7:17
โAnd I will harden Pharaohโs heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt.โ
- Shemot (Exodus) 7:3
โBut indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, to show My power in you.โ
- Shemot (Exodus) 9:16
This Shabbat reflects the unfolding demonstration of YHVHโs authority in Mitsrayim. Each sign revealed that power belongs not to systems of man, but to the One who governs creation. The plagues were structured revelations โ each one exposing limitation and establishing truth. Nothing resists His command. Nothing operates outside His purpose. This rest reminds us that divine authority is not abstract; it is active.
What appears resistant is still subject to His will, and what seems uncertain is still within His order.
Shabbat is a reset from control into trust. We step back from pressure and realign with the truth that YHVH governs outcomes. Let this day strengthen quiet confidence. Not everything must be understood to be trusted. His authority is sufficient.
Fifteen days have been counted. Two weeks are complete, and the journey continues with increasing structure. What began as departure is now forming stability through repetition and obedience.
Blessed are You, YHVH our Elohim, who rules over all creation. Thank You for bringing us into this Shabbat and for guiding us through the counting of the Omer. Establish peace within us and strengthen our trust in Your authority.
Baruch YHVH.
Shalom until tomorrow!
