Justice – Removing Corruption from the Camp
“So you shall put away the evil from among you.”

“You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous.”

“Purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Messiah, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.”

YHVH desires a people who are set apart in both worship and conduct. Corruption, whether through dishonesty, partiality, bribery, or deliberate sin, weakens the community and dishonours His holy Name. The Torah repeatedly calls His people to remove evil from among them so that righteousness and justice may flourish.
Messiah's followers are likewise called to pursue holiness with humility and faithfulness. Removing corruption begins with examining our own hearts, rejecting compromise, and encouraging one another to walk according to YHVH's righteous standards. In doing so, we strengthen the covenant community and bear faithful witness to His Kingdom.
It is often easier to recognise corruption in others than to see it within ourselves. Yet YHVH invites each of us to examine our motives, attitudes, and actions honestly before Him. Repentance and obedience keep our hearts tender and our fellowship with Him strong.
As we prepare to enter Shabbat, let us ask YHVH to cleanse us from every hidden fault and to establish truth, justice, and holiness within our homes and our Mitspacha. A community committed to righteousness becomes a light that points others to the goodness of Elohim.
Heavenly Father, YHVH, search our hearts and reveal anything that is not pleasing to You. Give us the humility to repent, the courage to reject every form of corruption, and the wisdom to walk in justice and holiness. Strengthen our families, our Mitspacha, and our communities to uphold Your righteous ways. May our lives honour Your holy Name and reflect the purity and faithfulness to which You have called us.
