Shalom, Mitspacha!
As we gather before YHVH on this blessed Shabbat, let us set aside the cares of the week and enter His presence with thankful hearts. May this set-apart day renew our spirits, deepen our understanding of His Torah, and strengthen our walk in covenant faithfulness.
Punishment of Conspiring Witnesses / Entering the Promise
Heavenly Father, YHVH, we thank You for the gift of Your holy Shabbat. Thank You for calling us to be a people set apart for Your Name. As we come before You today, quiet our hearts, renew our minds, and teach us through Your Word. May Your Ruach guide our thoughts, strengthen our faith, and unite us in love, truth, and faithful obedience. Let this Shabbat draw us closer to You and to one another as members of Your covenant family.

As we share the bread and the cup today, let us remember our Messiah, who willingly gave Himself that we might be reconciled to the Father. Through His sacrifice He confirmed the New Covenant, writing the Torah upon the hearts of those who trust in Him. Let us examine ourselves with humility, forgive one another freely, and partake with gratitude, reverence, and joy.
“If the witness is a false witness, who has testified falsely against his brother, then you shall do to him as he thought to have done to his brother; so you shall put away the evil from among you.”

YHVH's justice protects the covenant community by exposing falsehood and holding those who conspire against others accountable for their actions. False witnesses undermine justice, destroy trust, and threaten the wellbeing of the entire community. Therefore, the Torah requires that those who deliberately seek to harm another through false testimony receive the very judgment they intended for the innocent.
At the same time, the book of Yehoshua reminds us that YHVH fulfils every promise He makes. As Israel entered the Promised Land, they were called to walk in courage, obedience, and complete trust in His faithfulness. The inheritance was secured not by human strength alone but by faithful obedience to YHVH's commands. Justice within the camp and faithfulness before Elohim always go hand in hand.
The Kingdom of YHVH is built upon truth, righteousness, and faithfulness. We are called not only to reject falsehood but also to walk confidently into every promise that YHVH has prepared for those who obey Him. His justice removes corruption, while His promises strengthen hope.
As we rest on this Shabbat, let us examine our own hearts. May we be people whose words are trustworthy, whose testimony is true, and whose lives demonstrate unwavering confidence in the faithfulness of our heavenly Father. Those who walk in truth may enter every promise with peace.
Heavenly Father, YHVH, thank You for Your perfect justice and unfailing faithfulness. Teach us to love truth, to reject every form of deception, and to guard our words with wisdom and integrity. Keep us from becoming false witnesses in any matter, and help us to uphold righteousness in every decision we make.
Strengthen us to walk courageously into every promise You have prepared for Your people. Remove fear, doubt, and compromise from our hearts, and establish within us complete confidence in Your Word. May our lives reflect obedience that honours You and encourages others to follow Your ways.
We pray for peace in the Middle East, South Africa and throughout the world. Bring stability, righteousness and Your divine intervention wherever conflict and violence increase.
We pray for an end-time revival. Awaken hearts across the nations and draw multitudes back to Your truth through repentance and faithful obedience.
We pray for the elderly, especially those suffering abuse, loneliness or neglect. Surround them with protection, dignity, compassionate care and Your comforting presence.
We pray for farmers, especially those living under the threat of violence and attacks. Place Your hedge of protection around them, strengthen their hands and bless the work that provides food for many.
We pray for people affected by wars, disasters and humanitarian crises. Comfort those who mourn, heal the injured, provide for the displaced and restore hope where despair has taken root.
We pray for evangelists and faithful servants proclaiming Your truth throughout the world, especially where persecution is severe. Grant them courage, wisdom, protection and supernatural opportunities to proclaim Messiah boldly.
We pray for those who are ill, especially those battling cancer and those affected by new viral outbreaks. Stretch out Your healing hand, grant wisdom to caregivers and fill every suffering heart with hope and peace.
We pray concerning the coming tribulation and the signs already appearing before our eyes. Prepare Your people with discernment, endurance, unwavering faith and steadfast confidence in Your promises.
We lift up Derech Olam Ministries before You. Direct every step according to Your perfect will, open the doors that no one can shut, provide every needed resource and let Your favour rest continually upon this work for the glory of Your Name.
May this Shabbat renew our strength, deepen our faith, and prepare us to serve You faithfully in the days ahead. May Your peace remain upon Israel, upon all who seek You in sincerity, and upon every member of our Mitspacha.
