Justice – Safeguarding Judicial Integrity
“You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous.”

YHVH established justice as one of the foundations of His covenant people. Those entrusted with judging others were commanded to act without partiality, reject every form of bribery, and uphold righteousness regardless of status or personal gain. Judicial integrity protects the innocent, restrains evil, and reflects the holy character of Elohim.
Although few of us serve as judges in a court, every believer makes decisions that affect other people. Whether resolving disputes, offering counsel, or evaluating circumstances, we are called to seek truth carefully, reject prejudice, and act with fairness. In doing so, we honour YHVH and strengthen the communities He has entrusted to our care.
Integrity is revealed when we choose what is right even when it is difficult. Justice cannot flourish where favouritism, selfish ambition, or dishonest motives take root. A heart submitted to YHVH seeks truth before forming conclusions and extends fairness without discrimination.
May we become people whose decisions inspire confidence because they are guided by wisdom, humility, and obedience to YHVH. As we uphold justice in the ordinary matters of daily life, we bear faithful witness to His righteous Kingdom.
Heavenly Father, YHVH, thank You for establishing justice as an expression of Your holy character. Teach us to reject every form of partiality, dishonesty, and corruption. Give us wisdom to discern truth, courage to stand for righteousness, and humility to judge fairly in every situation. May our words, decisions, and actions always reflect Your justice and mercy, bringing honour to Your Name and strengthening those around us as we faithfully walk in obedience to Your Torah.
