Prohibition of Perverting Justice for the Weak
“You shall not show partiality to a poor man in his dispute.”

YHVH's justice is founded upon truth rather than emotion, status, or personal preference. His Torah commands that judgment must never be distorted, even out of sympathy for the poor or favour toward the powerful. True justice weighs every matter fairly, ensuring that righteousness - not social standing or personal feelings - determines the outcome.
This command reminds us that compassion and justice are not opponents but companions. We are called to care deeply for the vulnerable while remaining faithful to truth. When justice is administered without partiality, both mercy and righteousness are upheld, reflecting the perfect character of Elohim.
In a world where opinions often outweigh facts, YHVH calls His people to pursue truth with humility and integrity. We must resist the temptation to judge by appearances, popularity, or emotion, choosing instead to seek what is right in His sight.
May our decisions be guided by wisdom rather than bias, and may our words demonstrate fairness toward every person. As we honour YHVH's standards of justice, we become trustworthy witnesses of His righteous Kingdom.
Heavenly Father, YHVH, thank You for revealing the perfect standard of justice through Your Torah. Teach us to judge with fairness, free from prejudice, favouritism, or selfish motives. Give us wisdom to discern truth, compassion to care for those in need, and courage to uphold righteousness without compromise. May our hearts always reflect Your justice, Your mercy, and Your holiness as we faithfully walk in obedience to Your Word.
