๐ŸŸซ MITZVOT FOCUS

By establishing cities of refuge and clearly defining judicial procedures, YHVH restrained personal revenge and ensured that justice would be administered through righteous judgment rather than uncontrolled emotion. His Torah replaced impulsive retaliation with order, truth and careful examination of every case.

This principle remains vital today. YHVH calls His people to surrender personal vengeance to Him, trusting His perfect justice instead of acting out of anger. When we exercise patience, self-control and respect for righteous authority, we reflect His character and preserve peace within our communities.

๐Ÿฉต REFLECTION

Human nature often seeks immediate retaliation when wronged, but YHVH teaches us that justice belongs to Him. Waiting upon His wisdom requires faith, humility and confidence that His judgments are always perfect.

May we resist the temptation to answer wrong with wrong. As we entrust every injustice to YHVH, He strengthens our hearts to walk in peace, extend forgiveness where appropriate and remain faithful to His righteous ways.

๐Ÿ‘ PRAYER

Heavenly Father, YHVH, thank You for establishing justice that restrains vengeance and preserves peace. Teach us to trust Your perfect judgments, to turn away from anger and retaliation, and to pursue righteousness with patient and humble hearts. Fill us with Your wisdom, strengthen us through Your Spirit and help us become peacemakers who honour Your holy Name in every circumstance.

Baruch YHVH. Emet.

Shalom until tomorrow.
