β€œOpen your mouth for the speechless, in the cause of all who are appointed to die.”

🟫 MITZVOT FOCUS

YHVH calls His people to choose righteous action rather than silence when others are suffering or injustice is taking place. His Torah teaches that justice requires more than recognising what is wrong; it requires us to respond with wisdom, courage and compassion when we have the ability to help.

This mitzvah reminds us that remaining silent when we should act can allow injustice to continue. YHVH entrusts His people with opportunities to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves, defend the vulnerable and pursue justice according to His righteous standards.

🩡 REFLECTION

Silence can sometimes be wise, but there are moments when silence becomes an excuse for avoiding responsibility. YHVH calls us to discern the difference and to have the courage to act when truth and justice require our involvement.

May we never allow fear, convenience or indifference to prevent us from doing what is right. As we speak truth with wisdom, defend those who are vulnerable and act with compassion, our lives become living testimonies of YHVH's justice and mercy.

πŸ‘ PRAYER

Heavenly Father, YHVH, thank You for teaching us to pursue justice with wisdom, courage and compassion. Give us discernment to recognise when action is required, courage to speak when truth must be defended and humility to serve those who need our help. Keep us from indifference and selfish silence, and guide our actions so that they honour Your holy Name and reflect Your righteous Kingdom.

Baruch YHVH. Emet.

Shalom until tomorrow.
