Justice – incorruptible authority
“You shall follow what is altogether just, so that you live and inherit the land which YHVH your Elohim is giving you.”

“The king establishes the land by justice, but he who receives bribes overthrows it.”
- Mishlei (Proverbs) 29:4
YHVH establishes authority for the purpose of maintaining justice, righteousness, and order. Those entrusted with leadership carry a responsibility to act with integrity and impartiality. Authority becomes corrupted when it is used for personal gain, favoritism, oppression, or selfish ambition rather than for the good of those being served.
The people of YHVH are called to support righteous leadership and to exercise any authority they possess with humility, honesty, and accountability. Justice flourishes where authority remains faithful to truth and resistant to corruption.
Throughout history, many societies have prospered when leaders pursued justice and righteousness. Likewise, many have suffered when power was abused or corrupted. Scripture teaches that authority is not an entitlement but a stewardship. Whether leading a nation, a family, a congregation, a business, or any area of responsibility, true leadership seeks the well-being of others rather than personal advantage.
Consider the areas of influence entrusted to you. Are your decisions guided by integrity and fairness? Do you use influence to serve, encourage, and build others up? Incorruptible authority begins with a heart submitted to YHVH and committed to His standards of justice.
Abba YHVH, teach us to walk in integrity and righteousness in every position of responsibility You entrust to us. Guard our hearts from pride, corruption, selfish ambition, and favoritism. Help us to exercise influence with humility, wisdom, and justice. Strengthen leaders to govern righteously and raise up people who honor truth above personal gain. Let Your justice be reflected in our homes, communities, and every sphere of authority.
