Heavenly Father, YHVH, thank You for bringing us safely into Your holy Shabbat. Quiet our hearts before You and teach us to walk in humility, obedience, and unwavering faith. Remove every trace of pride, fear, and self-reliance, replacing them with trust in Your wisdom and Your perfect timing. May Your Ruach guide us as we worship, study, and rest in Your presence today.
Baruch YHVH. Emet.
As we share the bread, we remember the body of Yahusha, willingly given for us. As we drink from the cup, we remember the renewed covenant sealed through His blood, giving thanks for forgiveness, mercy, and reconciliation with our Heavenly Father. May we examine our hearts with humility and gratitude, renewing our commitment to walk faithfully in His ways.
"He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does YHVH require of you but to do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your Elohim?"

We are reminded that humility always precedes righteous judgment. Throughout Scripture, those who exalt themselves eventually face correction, while those who humble themselves before YHVH receive His grace and guidance.
As the journey of Yisrael continues they stand on the border of the Promised Land. After decades in the wilderness, the people are preparing to cross into the inheritance promised to their fathers. At such a decisive moment, faithfulness becomes essential. Past victories cannot replace present obedience, and future promises do not excuse current compromise.
The account of Balaam illustrates this truth clearly. Although he possessed knowledge of Elohim, his heart was divided by personal ambition. YHVH even used a humble donkey to rebuke the pride of a man who believed he could see clearly while he was spiritually blind. The lesson is timeless: YHVH can use the least expected means to correct those who refuse humble obedience.
Faithfulness at the border also speaks directly to us. Many believers long for the promises of YHVH yet hesitate when obedience demands sacrifice, patience, or complete surrender. Standing at the border requires trust. Crossing into His purposes requires faithfulness.
Humility and faithfulness therefore walk together. A humble heart accepts correction. A faithful heart continues walking even when the destination is not yet fully visible. Together they prepare us for the assignments YHVH has prepared for His people during these days.
As we observe this Shabbat, let us willingly place our plans beneath His authority, allowing His Word to shape our decisions. Those who humble themselves before YHVH today will be prepared to stand faithfully when greater responsibilities arrive tomorrow.
Take time today to ask yourself:
Choose humility over self-confidence, obedience over convenience, and faithfulness over impatience. Small daily acts of obedience prepare us for greater responsibilities in His Kingdom.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word that teaches us humility and steadfast faith. Help us to remain faithful wherever You have placed us. Give us listening hearts, willing hands, and obedient spirits so that we may honour You in every decision. May this Shabbat strengthen our relationship with You and prepare us for the days ahead.
We pray for peace in the Middle East, South Africa, and the world. Bring stability, righteousness, and divine intervention where conflict rises.
We pray for end-time revival. Let hearts awaken and turn back to Your truth across the earth.
We pray for the elderly, especially those suffering abuse or neglect. Surround them with protection, dignity, care, and comfort.
We pray for the farmers, especially those in danger of attacks. Shield their lives, strengthen their hands, and bless their labor.
We pray for people in war and disaster-stricken areas. Comfort those who have lost loved ones and heal those who have been injured.
We pray for evangelists across the world, especially where persecution is severe. Empower them with courage, safety, and supernatural doors of opportunity.
We pray for ill people, especially those with cancer and new viral outbreaks. Stretch out Your healing hand and bring restoration and hope.
We pray for the coming tribulation and the signs already appearing. Prepare our hearts with wisdom, endurance, and steadfast faith.
We pray for our ministry, Derech Olam Ministries. Guide each step, open the right doors, and let Your favour rest upon the work.
May Your Name alone be glorified in all the earth.
