Justice – Submission to Order
"You shall appoint judges and officers in all your gates, which YHVH your Elohim gives you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment. You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the righteous. Justice, justice you shall pursue, that you may live and inherit the land which YHVH your Elohim gives you."

YHVH is a God of order. Justice is never based on personal preference, influence, or emotion, but upon His righteous standards. He appoints authority so that His people may live in peace, fairness, and accountability. Submission to His order begins with submitting to Him as our supreme Judge and King.
Today many people celebrate Father's Day by honouring their fathers and stepfathers. Scripture teaches that giving honour where honour is due is good and right. Yet as we do so, let us remember the One from whom every righteous fatherhood ultimately finds its pattern - our Heavenly Father, YHVH.
Perhaps every day should be Father's Day before Him, just as every day should reflect gratitude for the mothers He has given us. Earthly parents are a blessing, but our first allegiance and highest honour always belong to our Heavenly Father.
The justice described in Devarim flows from this truth. When we submit ourselves to YHVH's authority, we learn to respect the order He has established in our homes, assemblies, communities, and nations. Righteous justice begins with humble obedience to the One who judges without partiality.
Every decision we make is an opportunity to pursue justice, reject corruption, and walk in integrity. In a world where fairness is often compromised, the people of YHVH are called to reflect His righteous character by living according to His Word rather than human opinion.
Heavenly Father, YHVH, thank You for Your perfect justice and righteous order. Teach us to submit willingly to Your authority and to honour You above all others. Bless faithful fathers and those who fulfil the role of a father with wisdom, strength, humility, and steadfast faith. Help us to pursue justice without partiality, to walk in integrity, and to reflect Your righteousness in every area of our lives. May our greatest desire always be to honour You, our Heavenly Father, every day.
