Protection of Innocent Life
"You shall do according to the sentence which they declare to you from that place which YHVH chooses. And you shall be careful to do according to all that they instruct you. According to the Torah which they instruct you, and according to the judgment which they tell you, you shall do; you shall not turn aside from the sentence which they declare to you, to the right hand or to the left."

YHVH establishes righteous authority to protect justice and preserve innocent life. His instructions are not given to burden His people but to guard them from injustice, violence, and the misuse of human judgment. Obedience to His Torah provides protection for both individuals and the community.
Every society depends upon justice that is rooted in truth rather than personal opinion. When those entrusted with judgment faithfully apply YHVH's Torah, innocent lives are protected and wickedness is restrained. When His standards are ignored, confusion, corruption, and suffering inevitably follow.
This principle also applies to our daily lives. We often make decisions that affect the well-being of others, whether in our families, assemblies, workplaces, or communities. Before acting or speaking, we should seek wisdom from YHVH and ensure that our choices reflect His righteousness rather than our emotions or assumptions.
Protecting innocent life is not limited to the courtroom. It includes guarding another person's reputation, refusing to spread false accusations, showing mercy where appropriate, and treating every person as one created in the image of Elohim. In doing so, we reflect the character of the One who delights in justice, truth, and righteousness.
Heavenly Father, YHVH, thank You for establishing righteous standards that protect life and preserve justice. Teach us to honour Your authority and to walk faithfully according to Your Torah. Guard our hearts from careless words, false judgments, and selfish motives. May our lives reflect Your justice, mercy, wisdom, and truth, so that we may be instruments of peace and protection wherever You place us.
