🟫 MITZVOT FOCUS

YHVH establishes truth through faithful witnesses and calls His people not only to remember His Torah, but to live it through faithful obedience from one generation to the next.

🩡 REFLECTION

Truth is never established by assumption, emotion or personal preference. Throughout Torah, YHVH repeatedly requires matters of justice to be confirmed by multiple witnesses so that judgment rests upon verified truth rather than opinion. His justice protects both the innocent and the community by demanding careful examination before any verdict is reached.

Yet remembering truth is just as important as establishing it. YHVH continually warned Israel not to forget His commandments after entering the Land or experiencing His blessings. Spiritual decline rarely begins with open rebellion; it often begins with forgetfulness. When His Word is neglected, compromise gradually replaces obedience.

Shabbat reminds us to pause from the distractions of daily life and intentionally remember the works, commandments and faithfulness of YHVH. It renews our hearts to walk in covenant and to teach His ways faithfully to the next generation.

The Renewed Covenant echoes the same principle. Hearing truth alone is insufficient if it does not produce obedience. Genuine faith is demonstrated through lives that reflect YHVH's righteousness in speech, judgment, worship and daily conduct. As we remember His Word and faithfully obey it, we become living witnesses whose testimony points others to His Kingdom.

πŸ‘ PRAYER

Heavenly Father, YHVH, thank You for revealing truth through Your perfect Torah and for establishing justice upon righteousness rather than human opinion. Teach us to love truth, to seek it diligently and to walk faithfully according to Your commandments each day. Guard our hearts from forgetfulness, compromise and deception, and continually renew within us a desire to obey You with joyful and willing hearts.

May Your Ruach HaKodesh strengthen us to become faithful witnesses of Your Kingdom through our words, our actions and our example. Help us to teach Your ways faithfully to our children, our families and all those You place within our lives, so that Your covenant may be remembered from generation to generation.

We pray for peace in the Middle East, South Africa and throughout the world. Bring stability, righteousness and Your divine intervention wherever conflict and violence increase.

We pray for an end-time revival. Awaken hearts across the nations and draw multitudes back to Your truth through repentance and faithful obedience.

We pray for the elderly, especially those suffering abuse, loneliness or neglect. Surround them with protection, dignity, compassionate care and Your comforting presence.

We pray for farmers, especially those living under the threat of violence and attacks. Place Your hedge of protection around them, strengthen their hands and bless the work that provides food for many.

We pray for people affected by wars, disasters and humanitarian crises. Comfort those who mourn, heal the injured, provide for the displaced and restore hope where despair has taken root.

We pray for evangelists and faithful servants proclaiming Your truth throughout the world, especially where persecution is severe. Grant them courage, wisdom, protection and supernatural opportunities to proclaim Messiah boldly.

We pray for those who are ill, especially those battling cancer and those affected by new viral outbreaks. Stretch out Your healing hand, grant wisdom to caregivers and fill every suffering heart with hope and peace.

We pray concerning the coming tribulation and the signs already appearing before our eyes. Prepare Your people with discernment, endurance, unwavering faith and steadfast confidence in Your promises.

We lift up Derech Olam Ministries before You. Direct every step according to Your perfect will, open the doors that no one can shut, provide every needed resource and let Your favour rest continually upon this work for the glory of Your Name.

May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Keep us faithful until the day of Messiah's appearing.

Baruch YHVH. Emet.

Shabbat Shalom.
