Shalom, Mishpacha!
Justice – separation from false worship
"Do not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits. Have nothing to do with a false charge and do not put an innocent or honest person to death, for I will not acquit the guilty."
- Shemot (Exodus) 23:6-7
"When YHVH your Elohim has destroyed before you the nations you are about to drive out, and when you have driven them out and settled in their land, and after they have been destroyed before you, be careful not to be ensnared by inquiring about their gods... You must not worship YHVH your Elohim in their way."
- Devarim (Deuteronomy) 12:29-31
"Elohim presides in the great assembly; He renders judgment among the 'gods'... Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed."
- Tehillim (Psalms) 82:1,3
"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers... What agreement is there between the temple of Elohim and idols? For we are the temple of the living Elohim."
- 2 Corinthians 6:14,16
We are commanded to uphold justice without partiality and to reject every form of false worship. This includes separating from practices, traditions, and influences that contradict the Torah of YHVH.
Justice is not passive - it requires active discernment, obedience, and removal of all that defiles.
Where in your life has compromise been tolerated? Are there influences, traditions, or beliefs that subtly draw you away from pure worship?
Today is a call to examine and to realign - to stand firmly in truth without mixture.
Today is Day 30 of the Omer. As we continue this journey of refinement, we are reminded that justice and purity walk together.
Each day calling us deeper into alignment and separation unto YHVH.
Avinu Malkeinu, reveal every hidden form of false worship within us. Teach us to walk in true justice, without compromise or mixture. Give us discernment to recognize what is not from You, and the strength to separate from it completely. Establish us in Your truth and purify our hearts before You.
Baruch YHVH.
Shalom until tomorrow.
