- Mishlei (Proverbs) 16:8

"Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income. This too is meaningless."
- Qohelet (Ecclesiastes) 5:10

🟫 MITZVOT FOCUS

We are called to pursue justice with a heart of contentment and restraint. True justice is not driven by gain, greed, or reaction, but by righteousness and self-control. YHVH desires that His people act fairly, without overreaching, and without allowing desire to distort judgment.

Restraint protects justice. Contentment guards the heart from corruption. Together they establish a foundation of integrity before YHVH.

🩵 REFLECTION

Are your decisions influenced by desire for more, or guided by what is right?

Today is a call to choose righteousness over gain - to act justly with a restrained and content heart.

🌾 OMER 33

Today is Day 33 of the Omer. As we continue this journey of refinement, we are reminded that justice is strengthened through contentment and restraint.

Each day drawing us deeper into integrity, balance, and alignment with YHVH.

👐 PRAYER

Avinu Malkeinu, teach us to walk in justice with hearts that are content and restrained. Guard us from greed, reaction, and imbalance. Help us to choose what is right over what is profitable, and to act with integrity in all things. Establish within us a spirit that is steady, disciplined, and aligned with Your righteousness.

Baruch YHVH.
