Shalom, Mishpacha!
A diligent note regarding this year's Pesach Sheni observance: due to exhaustion and calendar confusion between the Gregorian and Paleo-Messianic reckoning, the timing was realized later than intended. Yet Pesach Sheni itself stands as a reminder of YHVH’s provision for those who were delayed or unable to observe at the earlier appointed time. Therefore we continue forward sincerely and reverently - rather late than never.
Respect for inheritance and land / Erev Pesach Sheni
"The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is Mine and you reside in My land as foreigners and strangers."
- Vayikra (Leviticus) 25:23
"Do not move your neighbor’s boundary stone."
- Devarim (Deuteronomy) 19:14
"Each family is to maintain its inheritance."
- Bemidbar (Numbers) 36:9
"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
- John 8:36
"Messiah, our Pesach Lamb, has been sacrificed."
- 1 Corinthians 5:7
YHVH established inheritance, land, and boundaries as matters of stewardship, justice, and covenant responsibility. His people are not owners above Him, but caretakers entrusted with what belongs to Him.
Pesach Sheni also reminds us that restoration and renewed opportunity exist within His mercy. Even when delayed, sincere obedience and remembrance still matter before YHVH.
Are you honoring what YHVH has entrusted to you - spiritually, materially, and relationally?
Today calls us to respect covenant inheritance, to walk faithfully within the boundaries established by YHVH, and to approach Pesach Sheni with humility, gratitude, and renewed devotion.
Today is Day 41 of the Omer. As we continue toward Shavu'ot, we are reminded that faithful preparation requires perseverance, reflection, and continual refinement before YHVH.
Each day drawing us deeper into obedience, readiness, and covenant understanding.
Tonight begins the remembrance of Pesach Sheni for those observing it. Let the homes be prepared, the unleavened bread ready, and the hearts of the people turned toward gratitude and remembrance.
Pesach Sheni reminds us that YHVH makes provision for restoration and return. What was delayed is not necessarily lost when approached sincerely before Him.
As the Seder approaches, let there be reflection upon redemption, deliverance, covenant faithfulness, and the sacrifice of the Pesach Lamb.
Avinu Malkeinu, thank You for Your mercy, patience, and provision for restoration. Teach us to honor the inheritance and responsibilities You have entrusted to us. Help us to walk faithfully within Your boundaries and to approach Pesach Sheni with sincere hearts, gratitude, humility, and obedience. Prepare us continually for Your appointed times and establish us firmly in Your truth and covenant ways.
Baruch YHVH.
Shalom until tomorrow.
