Shalom, Mishpacha!
The expected moon sighting for the transition into the new month is approaching. Please remain attentive to confirmed sightings and related announcements as we prepare for the coming cycle and appointed times. You can verify sightings with RENEWED MOON or your local Muslim community that are also doing moon sightings.
Justice – timely decision-making
"You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, and you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous."
- Devarim (Deuteronomy) 16:19
"To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to YHVH than sacrifice."
- Mishlei (Proverbs) 21:3
"He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does YHVH require of you but to do justice, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your Elohim?"
- Michah (Micah) 6:8
"A wise man's heart discerns both time and judgment."
- Kohelet (Ecclesiastes) 8:5
YHVH calls His people not only to judge rightly, but also to act at the proper time. Delayed justice, neglected responsibility, or avoidance of necessary decisions can bring harm, confusion, and oppression.
Timely decision-making requires wisdom, discernment, courage, and obedience. Justice must not only be correct in substance, but also faithful in timing.
Are there decisions you have delayed out of fear, uncertainty, distraction, or discomfort?
Today reminds us that righteousness includes responding faithfully when action is required. Wise timing, careful judgment, and obedient action work together to establish peace, order, and integrity within covenant life.
Today is Day 45 of the Omer. As the counting continues, we are reminded that spiritual maturity develops through consistency, discipline, and faithful obedience over time.
The Omer journey teaches us that timing matters. Each appointed day arrives with purpose, responsibility, and opportunity for refinement before YHVH.
Avinu Malkeinu, grant us wisdom to discern the right time for every decision and responsibility before us. Guard us from delay, fear, distraction, or neglect where action is required. Establish within us hearts that pursue justice, truth, mercy, and obedience according to Your perfect timing and ways.
Baruch YHVH.
Shalom until tomorrow.
