Shalom, Mitspacha!
Justice β impartial authority
βDo no unrighteousness in right-ruling. Do not be partial to the poor or favour the face of the great, but rightly rule your neighbour in righteousness.β
β Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 19:15
βDo not judge by the appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.β
β YohΜ£anan (John) 7:24
YHVH commands His people to pursue righteous judgment without favoritism, emotional bias, corruption, or fear of man. Justice must remain anchored in truth and obedience to His Torah regardless of social status, wealth, influence, or personal relationships.
Impartial authority reflects the character of YHVH Himself. Human nature easily bends toward favoritism - protecting friends, admiring power, excusing ourselves, or reacting emotionally instead of judging righteously. Yet Torah calls us to apply one standard fairly and truthfully.
Whether in leadership, family life, business, assemblies, or daily interactions, righteous judgment requires humility, wisdom, restraint, and reverence for YHVH. Justice that is influenced by pride, popularity, fear, or personal gain slowly destroys trust and righteousness.
Yahusha reminded us not to judge by appearances, but according to truth. Impartial authority is not harshness - it is faithful obedience to what is right before YHVH.
Abba YHVH, teach us to walk in righteousness and truth. Remove partiality, pride, emotional bias, and fear from our hearts. Help us to judge fairly, speak honestly, and lead with integrity according to Your ways. May our decisions reflect Your justice and bring honor to Your Name.
Baruch YHVH.
Shalom until tomorrow.
