Justice – safeguarding verdicts
“You shall keep far from a false matter. Do not kill the innocent and righteous, for I do not declare wrong the wrongdoer.”

“He who declares wrong the wrongdoer, and he who condemns the righteous, both of them are an abomination to YHVH.”
- Mishlei (Proverbs) 17:15
YHVH commands His people to safeguard justice by protecting verdicts from corruption, falsehood, manipulation, prejudice, and personal interest. A righteous judgment must be established carefully through truth, honesty, discernment, and integrity. Safeguarding verdicts requires responsibility and restraint. False accusations, distorted evidence, emotional reactions, favoritism, and careless assumptions can lead to injustice and harm both individuals and entire communities.
The people of YHVH are called to pursue righteousness diligently and to ensure that justice remains rooted in truth rather than influence or pressure.
Throughout history, many injustices have occurred because truth was ignored, distorted, or sacrificed for convenience, fear, politics, popularity, or personal advantage. Scripture repeatedly warns against condemning the innocent or justifying wrongdoing. A righteous person learns to examine matters carefully before forming conclusions. Wisdom requires patience, humility, discernment, and a willingness to seek truth even when it is uncomfortable or unpopular.
Consider whether your judgments, opinions, and decisions are guided by careful discernment or by assumptions, emotions, and outside influence. Safeguarding justice begins with a heart committed to truth before YHVH.
Abba YHVH, teach us to walk in truth, discernment, and righteousness. Guard our hearts from prejudice, false assumptions, emotional reactions, and corruption. Help us to judge carefully, act wisely, and uphold justice with integrity in every circumstance. Strengthen us to protect truth even when pressure, fear, or influence attempt to distort what is right. Let our words, actions, and decisions reflect Your righteousness and bring honor to Your Name.
