Shalom, Mishpacha!
Justice β reliability of words
βLying lips are an abomination to YHVH, but those who deal truly are His delight.β
- Mishlei (Proverbs) 12:22
βLet your word βYesβ be βYes,β and your βNo,β βNo.β And what goes beyond these is from the wicked one.β
- Mattithyahu (Matthew) 5:37
YHVH calls His people to speak with honesty, consistency, and reliability. Words carry authority and responsibility. False promises, careless speech, exaggeration, deception, and manipulative communication weaken trust and damage relationships within the community.
Reliability of words reflects integrity of character. The people of YHVH are called to speak truthfully, fulfill commitments faithfully, and communicate with clarity and sincerity. Righteous speech strengthens justice, trust, and peace among people.
In a world filled with misinformation, broken promises, and careless speech, reliability has become increasingly rare. Many people speak impulsively without considering the weight or consequences of their words. Yet Scripture teaches that words reveal the condition of the heart. A trustworthy person learns restraint, wisdom, and consistency in speech. Reliability is built through truthfulness practiced daily in both small and great matters.
Consider whether your words consistently reflect honesty, dependability, and integrity. A heart that walks closely with YHVH learns to value truth above convenience, image, or emotional reaction.
Abba YHVH, teach us to walk in truth, integrity, and faithfulness. Guard our mouths from careless speech, exaggeration, deception, and empty promises. Help us to speak with wisdom, sincerity, and reliability in every circumstance. Strengthen us to honor our words and reflect righteousness in both speech and action. Let our lives bring peace, trust, and honor to Your Name.
We pray for peace in the Middle East, South Africa, and the world. Bring stability, righteousness, and divine intervention where conflict rises.
We pray for end-time revival. Let hearts awaken and turn back to Your truth across the earth.

Baruch YHVH.
Shalom until tomorrow.
