Justice β reliability of words / Holiness and approach (Wayyiqra / Leviticus)
Abba YHVH, thank You for this set-apart Shabbat. Thank You for Your covenant, Your Torah, and Your faithfulness throughout every generation. As we come before You today, teach us to walk in holiness, integrity, and truth. Purify our hearts, guide our thoughts, and help us to approach You with reverence and humility. Let this day strengthen our relationship with You and deepen our commitment to walk according to Your instruction.

As we partake in communion, we remember the covenant faithfulness of YHVH and His provision throughout every generation. We remember Yahusha the Messiah, who walked in perfect obedience and revealed the fullness of righteousness and truth. May this time renew our commitment to live as a set-apart people, walking in holiness, integrity, and covenant faithfulness before YHVH.
βAnd you shall be set-apart unto Me, for I, YHVH, am set-apart, and have separated you from the peoples to be Mine.β

Justice and holiness are deeply connected. Reliable words establish trust, preserve justice, and reflect integrity of character. YHVH delights in truthfulness because truth reflects His own nature. When words become careless, deceptive, exaggerated, or unreliable, trust weakens and righteousness suffers.
The book of Wayyiqra repeatedly teaches that approaching YHVH requires holiness. His people were called to live differently from the surrounding nations, reflecting His standards in worship, conduct, relationships, and daily life. Holiness was not limited to religious ceremonies but extended into every aspect of life.
Reliable speech forms part of that holy walk. A person who fears YHVH learns to speak carefully, fulfill commitments faithfully, and communicate truthfully. Justice depends upon truthful words, honest testimony, and integrity in communication. When reliability becomes part of character, trust grows and righteousness is strengthened within the community.
Examine the reliability of your words. Consider whether your speech consistently reflects honesty, faithfulness, and integrity. Are your commitments dependable? Do your words strengthen trust and peace within your family, community, and relationships?
Also consider your approach to holiness. Holiness is not reserved for worship gatherings alone. It is expressed through daily obedience, truthful speech, righteous conduct, and a heart dedicated to YHVH. Seek to approach Him with reverence and allow His instruction to shape every area of your life.
Abba YHVH, thank You for calling us to walk in both justice and holiness. Help us to speak truthfully, honor our commitments, and reflect integrity in every area of life. Teach us to approach You with reverence, humility, and obedience. Let our words, actions, and character bring honor to Your Name. May Your presence guide us, Your wisdom instruct us, and Your righteousness be evident in our daily walk before You.
