Theme: Rather late than never
Tonight we remember Pesach Sheni - the appointed provision given for those who were delayed or unable to keep Pesach at its earlier time. It stands as a reminder of the mercy, patience, and restoration of YHVH toward His people.
It is also further delayed due to a calendar confusion.
As we prepare for this remembrance, let our hearts be renewed in sincerity, gratitude, covenant faithfulness, and expectation before YHVH.
Pesach Sheni reminds us that delay does not always mean rejection. YHVH made provision for those who were unable to observe Pesach at the appointed time so that they too could participate in remembrance, obedience, and covenant life.
This year, through exhaustion and calendar confusion, this observance itself became delayed. Yet even in this we are reminded of the heart behind Pesach Sheni - restoration, return, and sincere remembrance before YHVH.
Sometimes life becomes heavy, timing becomes confused, and strength becomes limited. Yet YHVH remains merciful toward those who continue seeking Him sincerely. What matters is not perfection in ourselves, but faithfulness, humility, repentance, and the willingness to return and continue walking in obedience.
Rather late than never.
As we partake in communion, let us remember Yahusha HaMashiach, our Pesach Lamb, who gave Himself for redemption and reconciliation. May this cup remind us of covenant renewal, forgiveness, faithfulness, and hope in YHVH.
Avinu Malkeinu, thank You for Your compassion, mercy, and patience. Help us never to abandon remembrance, obedience, or covenant faithfulness even when we stumble, grow weary, or become delayed. Renew our strength, establish our hearts in sincerity, and draw us continually back into alignment with Your appointed ways and truth.
